BookFusion at London Book Fair 2026

We are honoured to have once again participated in the London Book Fair, one of the most significant global events in publishing. Returning to Olympia London this year felt like coming home to a room of like-minds, all concerned about where books are headed next. Of course, we are always delighted to be part of those conversations 😏. This year we had three team members represent BookFusion at the fair, Dwayne Campbell (Executive), Sergey Nartimov (CTO), and Teresa-Rae Chiu Chuck (Marketing), building on the relationships we began last year and opening the door to many new ones.

A First for Us: Our Own Booth

This year marked a milestone we have been quietly building toward. For the first time, we designed and hosted our own branded BookFusion booth, complete with a full-scale backdrop that brought our face to life on the show floor. We loved seeing attendees stop to take photos in front of it throughout the fair, and it was genuinely moving to watch our platform hold physical space in a room of this scale. The booth gave us somewhere to welcome partners properly, demo the platform in real time, and have longer conversations than the usual walk-and-greet allows.

Deepening Existing Partnerships, Building New Ones

We caught up with many of the partners we have been working with over the past year, and the in-person time meant we could go deeper on what is next for each collaboration. Publishers we have been serving remotely became faces across a table, and small questions that usually take weeks over email were resolved in minutes.

We also met a significant number of new partners, across publishing, education, and the wider knowledge ecosystem. Some of these conversations are already moving forward, and we will have more to share in the months ahead as plans come together.

In the Tech Section: Conversations on the Future of Digital Reading

This year we positioned ourselves rightly in the Tech section of the fair, which placed us right in the middle of the conversations that felt most alive at LBF 2026. The future of digital reading and content production was hard to miss. Discussions around evolving production pipelines, new tooling for writers and authors, the role of emerging technology including AI, and broader questions about where readers and content are headed came up across nearly every conversation we had and overhead. The appetite for innovation in the industry is palpable, and the Tech section was where you could feel it most clearly.

We also attended a few serendipitous talks about Immersive Audio success stories, a feature of digital content BookFusion has been promoting in the space, and laying the groundwork for more. The consensus was that emerging authors looking for an audience should consider a more complete and creative reading experience to reach their readers. We want to add that it’s not only a perk to the digital reading experience, but a necessity to reach accessibility compliance in the 2026 landscape. Moments like these allow us to imagine a more connected world through innovation.

Being positioned there gave us the chance to participate meaningfully in those discussions rather than observe them from a distance. We talked with technology providers, platform builders, and publishers thinking through what comes next, and we shared how BookFusion sits in that landscape as infrastructure built for readers first. These are conversations we intend to keep having, and we are grateful to everyone who stopped by to think them through with us.

Looking Ahead

The London Book Fair continues to be one of the most productive weeks in our calendar, and this year was no exception. We are leaving with new partnerships in motion, existing ones strengthened, and a clearer sense of where the industry is heading.

We will be back at London Book Fair next year (at a new location 👀), and we cannot wait to see what the next chapter brings. To everyone we met, thank you for the warmth and the ideas. To everyone we did not get to catch this time, we look forward to connecting soon.
